Resolution 7307: Adopting Guiding Principles and Workplan in the Rightsizing Process
Adopted unanimously, it sets four guiding principles (access to well-resourced schools, safe and healthy buildings, strong neighborhood schools plus choice programs, and an equity lens) and a work plan including data analysis, an equity impact analysis and community engagement. These are the standards the board said it will use to judge any closure plan.
