School Initiation and Closure Policy

The core closure policy. A school closes only by board decision on the superintendent's recommendation, backed by a School Closure Report covering costs, transportation, enrollment, building condition, equity of access, transfer history, community partnerships and a boundary map, with a public review process and timelines that give families adequate notice.
